Great shady park. Plenty of grass, and 2 covered pavilions with picnic tables. Clean bathroom available. Play area for kids, basketball court, and a small skate area. Palisade High School Concert in the Park – Band, Choir, and Orchestra performing.

Cute little park that has all your basic needs to work your kids energy out. One slide is also very fast in case one of your kids has a need for speed.

Good small park with lots of shade and large grass area. Play structure is designed for K-6. The slides are pretty fast and there are lots of gaps for climbing ladders so if your child is younger than 5 be careful.

Veterans memorial Park is home to many events throughout the year. In August they have the Palisade Lions club pancake breakfast, local parade and Peachy Run. Our friends drive over, from Colorado Springs, every year to partake of the delicious pancakes, fresh peaches, eggs and link sausage. The Palisade Peach Festival has grown grew so large that city determined it had to split it over two weekends in order to accommodate all of the visitors. So next weekend is the official festival where you can eat fresh peaches, play games, see all the amazing crafts, artwork and food from local businesses and generally have a lovely time.
