Located near the beach at 98544 Seagull Ln in Brookings, McVay Dog Park is a favorite spot for local pet owners looking for a pet-friendly trail and a large dog park in Brookings, Oregon. The park boasts generous open areas, natural dirt and wood chip surfaces, and plenty of trees and bushes providing ample shade. Several walking paths make it an excellent place for dog-friendly hiking adventures, while its close proximity to the beach adds to the experience.
McVay Dog Park features three fenced areas that cater to various dog sizes: dedicated spaces for small dogs, large dogs, and a shared area for both. The area is double-gated for safety, though some users note a few spots are not fully enclosed, so strong recall is recommended.
