Visiting the dog park can be a joyful activity for both you and your furry friend—but aggressive encounters can quickly […]
Located on Edgewood Blvd, Sutherlin Dog Park is a favorite destination for dog owners from Sutherlin and the surrounding region. This fully fenced, pet-friendly park features multiple enclosures, including separate areas for large and small dogs, giving every pup a safe and comfortable play space. Dog lovers comment on the park’s ample shade from mature trees—making it a pleasant visit even during the hot summer months—and plenty of benches and seating for owners to relax while their pets roam.
The park is double-gated for safety and offers wide open grassy areas perfect for energetic pups. Water is sometimes available (though you’re encouraged to bring your own just in case), and complimentary poop bags are provided at entry. Sutherlin Dog Park is connected to walking paths and is close to family amenities such as a children’s playground and scenic trails—ideal for a whole-family outing. Visitors consistently mention how well-kept and inviting the grounds are, though the park can get muddy in rainy weather, and waste stations may occasionally be understocked. Overall, it’s a welcoming, vibrant hub for dog-friendly activities in the Sutherlin, Oregon area!
Stopped here twice while traveling. Nice park with three areas. Trees for shade which was a relief in the summer heat and benches. The watering area is paved and drained which is nice so there’s no mud around it, though during the rainy season the whole park probably gets pretty muddy.
This is a very nice dog park with 2 large enclosures, a medium sized enclosure, and a couple of small ones . There Are plenty of trees, chairs, water, and our dogs live it!
My fur babies thrive here in Sutherland Dog Park.

Great, fully fenced dog park. Nice people, good dogs on the day we visited, not too busy but it was sprikling rain a bit. Little puddle of mud, but seems nicely kept. Double Doggie gate to enter, poop bags are provided and theres 2 different spaces you can bring your pet, 1 larger, 1 smaller area. Bring your own water and bowl. No faucet available to fill. Plesent time.
We love taking our dog to Sutherlin dog park. There is a lot of running room even on busy days. The dogs love it here. Another good note, there are several friendly people bringing their dogs here.
