Great place to take your Dogs! The water is finally turned on and the grounds are clean, Only complaint is the lack of shade or it would be a 5 star review

It’s a beautiful place. My dogs love it. The only problem is there is nowhere for handicap people to park or walk their dogs. There used to be parking and an easier way to access the park. YesteI lost both of my dogs there. If anyone finds them, please turn over to Aztec Animal shelter 🙏

My dog loved it, small & large play area for pets plus a few exercises. There is water which is great. The large area has spikey plants, so wear shoes.

Overall the park was okay. It has its own water pump so you don’t have to bring your own water, maybe an extra bucket or bowl though. I would definitely suggest bringing your own doggie poop bags (the city of Aztec does not seem to supply them) and maybe your own chair since there’s only one bench to sit in (in each large and small dog area). The terrain has lots of gravel so it might also be worth it to put dog boots on your dogs feet if they have sensitive paws. The back of the park is hilly and opens up to less gravel, more weeds, and some small pinion juniper trees. I would bring my dogs here again.
