Kirtland Dog Exercise Area in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Kirtland Dog Exercise Area is a small, fully fenced dog park in Albuquerque, NM, providing a secure and quiet space for your pup to play and socialize. Located at 908 B Yellowood Ct SE, this hidden gem offers a relaxed environment, shaded spots from trees, and basic amenities perfect for both locals and travelers passing through town in search of dog-friendly parks. The area feels tucked away from busy highways, making it less stressful for anxious dogs, yet has public safety due to frequent Marketplace meetups.

This dog park features several covered picnic tables for owner comfort, wide access to free parking including accessible wheelchair spaces, and on-site poop bag stations to help keep the area clean. Fairly well kept exercise area for dogs to run in. There are facets to dispense water and there’s usually a rogue tennis ball or two. There are plenty of poop bag stations but people can be inconsiderate and there tends to be a decent amount of left over dog remains. Still a nice place to let the pup run about and for meeting other dogs.
