Nice state park. Camp sites have view of lake. A paved path along the lake connecting campground & picnic area. Lots of benches along the lake. Beautiful sunsets. Decorating with pumpkins & mums. Pretty. Staff friendly.
Verona Beach State Park. It is one I highly recommend. It has every thing you could ask for and more. And the paved trails, make it very easy for me to navigate with a Segway scooter. The camp ground is settled within a nice area. You can see the lake for the most part. I had even noticed a cool playground for all ages. One of the biggest at a State Park I have visited. It has tons of beaches. Ample seating is to be found every where. Lastly they posses a beach area with sand. And you can enter the water there. Even on day September during the week. This place had people in the water. I highly recommend this place. For anyone for a beautiful view. And some piece and quiet. Feel free to ask any questions on this. I will clarify it for you.
Beautiful little state park. The sites were a little hard to get into for our 34′ travel trailer. It was 90 degrees to back into with trees opposite. We eventually just pulled in over the grass. Also, none of the sites have water or sewer, only electric. But Lake Oneida being right there is worth it. Very clean with a separate picnicking area for the day users. I would def go there again.
State park with a day use area and camping. Nice walking trails along the water and beach access. Lots of picnic tables with bbqs, shelters for larger groups, multiple bathrooms and playgrounds. Very clean. Tons of parking.
Picture perfect, the breeze coming in off the lake made it cool on a hot day. My family and I enjoyed walking along the lake side. Plenty of parking.
