This is a great dog park. You don’t have to worry about owners not picking up poop or having their untrained dogs off leash. I would highly recommend this park if you want your dog to have a great time

Maple Park in Oak Park was nice. There was a few shady spots to sit and watch kids play. Even a couple [not all] of the play spots were shady. One of the few parks, if any where we found a bit of shade to prevent us and the grandkids from being drenched in sweat while enjoying themselves. We will take the girls back.

Good park. Right next to the main road on Harlem across from car wash. They have trash cans on site as well as poo bags and the ground is mostly gravel so it’s less likely they’ll get muddy. Definitely recommend.

I was visiting my sister in Oak Park and wanted to take my dog to a dog park. I walked about a mile and a half to get here throughout sketchy neighborhood to find a small, fenced-in gravel area which was locked. Apparently only people who have registered with Male Park are allowed to enter. Besides, this is not what a dog park is. Maple Park itself is big and nice. You could have easily quintupled the area and had some grass.
