Well manicured fields.
Cars need to watch for blind spots in vehicle parking as kids like to dart out between cars towards the fields (e.g. fields 1A and 1B) as traffic passes in front of where the parking is.
This was our first time exploring this park. There are three unpaved trails and one paved trail near the sports fields. It’s a short hike on the red trail. There was also a fresh water pond with a mini pier. Some areas are still closed and construction going on. I’m not sure if they are planning to build a playground. We’ll definitely come back to check out the red and blue trails
Oh buddy snacks on my slacks right here, this be one smashing park. That disc golf course will make a man out of you yet, just be sure to ricochet your plastic plate off ALL the trees. I don’t know about this old par 3 shenanigans, the gods were for sure smocking that big fat doobie upon insemination. Praise be to the reptile masters
Love taking my dog on a trails and taking the kids to the ball fields!
Absolutely loved this park. The trails are scenic, peaceful and very well maintained. We only did the hall creek trail this time around. It ended up bringing you to a open field that has a nice small pier that goes into the marsh/pond. Great place for a walk with your dog in nature. It looks like some trails are blocked off that take you closer to the marsh/pond. Hopefully those open up and offer even better views. Bring the kids have a picnic, do some fishing or play on one of the baseball, soccer, lacrosse fields or small playground area.
