Midfield Park is a versatile, pet-friendly park located in the heart of Midfield, Alabama. Known for its peaceful green spaces and a network of scenic, paved walking and biking trails, this park is a local favorite for dog owners seeking outdoor exercise for themselves and their pups. The park’s extensive trails connect to the Red Mountain Park area, making it perfect for those looking to enjoy dog-friendly hiking or leisurely strolls amid mature trees and plenty of shade.
In addition to paved paths designed for easy walking, jogging, or biking, visitors will find open grassy areas, covered picnic tables under gazebos, and a splash pad for families. While the park is not an official dog park with dedicated fenced-in dog areas, it’s a great spot to take your leashed dog for a walk or to relax in a serene environment. Its proximity to other local attractions and playgrounds also makes it an ideal destination for families with children and pets.
it’s free and the kids love it,good for toddlers and big kids.just the right size for you and the kids for a quick play in water. need a couple of these in birmingham around the city doin these hot summers.i have small kids and it’s better than going all the way to splash adventure just for them to play in water. it also has pinic tables under a gazebo and a nice size grass area if you want to plan a pinic. and did i mention it’s free!
Google Maps took me to a tow truck company on Taylor Ct. I called and the address is 410 Grant St. Midfield, AL.
The splash pad is lovely. My 3 year old is having a ball.
Loved It, This was one of the Jazz In The Park Concerts. The Band ,K.B’s Technique featured artist like Sax Muxiq DeLon Charley, Sean Michael Ray and other Awesome Musicians from Birmingham ,Alabama. What A Show.
the walking trail is very nice, don’t walk too late, 2 of the posts lights are out on the backend of the trail. I did not like having to walk past by the young men smoking weed under the gazebo.
A great place to take the kids. It’s FREE and we had a great time! I even got wet!
