I went there and sat in my car because it was a nice, quiet park. Seems it was a great place for me to sit and think about the issues I’m having to deal with at work. Since it was nice and relaxing, it helped me calm down from the argument my co worker started at work. So yes Id reccommand this place for anyone who is stress and need to get away.

I went here with my two dogs. I like that they have separate areas for the larger and smaller dogs, there isn’t really much in either of the areas though. It looks like they’ve added a little since last year, but it’d be cool if more trees were planted for shade and maybe a water dish or two.

Has a wheel of death and a nice basketball court. Kind of mid on the jungle gym part. Dog park is a nice bonus. Restroom is a portapotty

Roosevelt Park is pretty great. The playground right next to the parking lot is awesome. I really like the new style merry go round, it can’t go “50” mph like the ones of my childhood, but it’s extremely engaging.

The baseball fields were full, and looked great.

The Basketball court was in good condition, and was getting good use.

The tennis courts look like fun.

There is a pretty useful concessions stand right next to the playground.

Didn’t have to look for the bathroom while we were there, oops. I bet that there is one in the concessions stand though.
