There are two dog parks at fort Belvoir Woodlawn is the better of the 2. Nice area with a couple picnic tables to sit at lots of running room for your dogs to enjoy 🐕. Very well maintained the ground is laid with mulch so no muddy dog paws on your carpets. Only problem I have with the park is no water for our dogs. So be sure to bring your own water as they do have bowls to put your own water in.
Why they used weed blocker under the mulch I will never understand. It’s all coming up and is a tasty temptation for dogs, especially puppies. We ended up leaving because my puppy kept trying to eat it. 🥺
