Located right on the picturesque Chesapeake Bay, Holloway Beach offers dog owners a fantastic and spacious environment to let their furry friends socialize and play. Renowned as a well-kept dog park in Charlestown, MD, this park features two huge, fully mulched, fenced areas designed for safe off-leash play—one for large dogs and a separate section for small dogs and puppies. The 8-foot fences add an extra level of security, ensuring peace of mind while your dog burns off energy. Fresh water stations, plenty of benches, shaded spots, and free tennis balls help dogs and owners alike enjoy their visit, while numerous waste stations and trash cans keep the area tidy.
In addition to excellent dog amenities, the park is adjacent to pet-friendly trails, offering both hiking and cycling opportunities with scenic waterfront views. The expanded parking lot provides easy access, and there are clean restrooms and shower facilities nearby for owners. Whether you want to enjoy a peaceful day by the water, hike the surrounding trails, or let your dog romp with new friends, Holloway Beach is a great dog-friendly destination in Cecil County.
Well to be honest I haven’t been here properly since I was 8 or 10 years old and right now I’m out at age I rather not share So in other words it had been quite some time since I have been to Holloway beach needless to say it has totally changed From when I was a little girl mostly privately owned so but I made the trip just to say old memories good memories.
Greatest people more fun then a bag full of dice!!!!
Born and raised in this small town its sad to see all the good things that Made it feel like home being replaced by big houses and no more privacy or letting the kids play in the yard bc the houses there building are just as big as the lots there putting them it will. Never be the same again.
We drove by to tour to become seasonal campers and we did not even enter the facility because of the vibe it threw.
No one contacted us back, so we drove 3 hours to check it out.
While it is right on the water, it seems just cluttered with many decade old campers. This is another one that gives off that “trailer trash” type vibe.
We know nothing else about this place otherwise due to no response.
Had a trailer here at this camp ground now for 30 years and we are all one big family! I would recommend this place to anyone. Me and my daughter call it our happy place ❤️
