Ice House Park offers a welcoming, fenced-in dog park in Perryville, Maryland, perfect for dog owners seeking a quiet, local spot for their pets to run and socialize. Nestled within a scenic, residential area, this small but well-kept park features grassy open space for off-leash play and is not as crowded as bigger parks—making it an excellent choice for shy or easily excited dogs. With convenient parking and paved access down to the water, the park is also popular among outdoor enthusiasts enjoying fishing, kayaking, or paddleboarding in the area.
While amenities are simple—with fencing, some benches, and ample parking—the park is consistently reported as clean and secure. Most dog owners are responsible about waste, though you’ll need to bring your own water and bags as these are not regularly provided on-site. Its relative tranquility and friendly community vibe set Ice House Park apart as a hidden gem for pet-friendly outings and dog-friendly recreation in Perryville.
A very nice and quiet place, the pills that live in the surroundings have a place to fish and spend some family time.
Great location. Could use more fish. Free backrubs would be nice too. Otherwise, it’s scenic and free to fish.

I ride a bike through the area and it is very beautiful. I love it my favorite ride.
Chances are you will get hung up on retrieval unless you are top water fishing on the right side. It seems others had better luck more to the left side of the park. Absolutely beautiful scenery though. The bridge construction is on the loud side but when it’s done I’m sure this place will be perfect.
