Panorama Park Dog Park in Cathedral City, California

Located in the heart of Cathedral City, Panorama Park Dog Park is a popular and well-maintained spot for dog owners seeking a vibrant community for their dogs to socialize. Sitting within the larger Panorama Park system, this dog park features beautifully manicured grassy areas, separate fenced zones for small and large dogs, and ample shade from trees and installed canopies—some even equipped with cooling misters for those hot Coachella Valley days. Benches and shaded oases offer comfort for owners, while hands-free trash cans, poop bag dispensers, and water stations keep things tidy and convenient.

This dog park is renowned for its neighborly, friendly crowd, making it a favorite for regulars and newcomers alike. Water fountains (including some with drinking stations for pets), spacious parking, and proximity to the park’s wide range of family amenities—playgrounds, picnic shelters, splash pad, restrooms, and athletic fields—make it perfect for a family outing. While the dog park is generally clean and maintained, the grassy surfaces can become muddy or messy after rain, and the small dog area is especially lush. Overall, Panorama Park Dog Park is highly regarded for its welcoming atmosphere, thoughtful features, and its place as one of the dog-friendliest spaces in the Coachella Valley.

Restrooms were disgusting, all 3 looked like a horror movie. Toilets looked like haven’t been flushed in so long. Foil wrapper on floor with burns. 4 low life’s hanging out and all came from restroom area. From outta town. Never coming back here with my lil kids. Park should be ashamed not keeping it clean in nice neighborhood.

Great neighborhood park good for young and old alike. Pavilions for shade and picnics, playground with swings slides and monkey bars, dog runs, soccer field, tennis courts, basketball courts, softball field, restrooms and parking lot. A really great park in the middle of the subdivision neighborhood. Safe clean and well maintained by the cathedral city public works.

Very nice. The park is big and all inclusive. There is a splash pad,/kid wading pool. A huge playground and a nice shelter. There was a birthday party and it didn’t have to be intermingled with the public. It was big enough and enough to do for everyone. I also liked that it was next to the dog park and we could watch the dogs play as well.

Awesome local Dog park. Not big enough to encourage play for my guys and was stifling hot when we showed up for first pit stop on trip to Joshua Tree. It was within a bigger park system, so VERY nice ambiance. Met a nice elementary teacher there and her cute dogs, especially the pug/Chi mix who loves bad boys already and followed the indifferent Kobi around till he finally stopped growling at her. Poured water over Kenji and Kob several times, but it was just toooooo hot for them at 💯.

Honestly one of the nicest public dog parks I’ve ever been too and I travel across country. Rake and shovel provided to pick up poop. Views were amazing
