Located in the heart of Spotsylvania Courthouse, Spotsy Dog Park Inc. is a spacious, volunteer-run destination designed for dogs and their owners to exercise, socialize, and have fun off-leash. The park prides itself on being exceptionally friendly and welcoming, with a vibrant community atmosphere for both pets and people. Whether you have a puppy eager to make new friends or an older dog that prefers a gentler introduction, this nonprofit park provides separate, secure areas for small and large dogs, plus a trail around the perimeter for a calm walk or introduction.
With ample shade, agility equipment, toys, and shaded seating, Spotsy Dog Park has something for every canine and owner. Amenities include water bowls, provided dog poop bags, double-gated entries for safety, and amazing volunteers who work hard to keep the park clean and welcoming. The park is wheelchair accessible and is a perfect place for families and dog lovers looking for a pet-friendly retreat near Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania.
Amazing dog park! It’s nice and spacious, there are plenty of toys for dogs to play with. I enjoy the two door gate to make sure your dog and other dogs don’t escape. We love bringing our 6 month old Niko to this park and we love how friendly other dog owners are, especially when it comes to our puppy who loves attention!
Responding: Yes, you may!
Spotsy Dog Park is the place to go! When we moved to the area we looked for a dog park and found this one. All I can say is WOW! This volunteer park is the most friendly and welcoming park we’ve been to. Our dog gets along with all the dogs and gets excited when he knows when he is going. Everyone I’ve met is friendly. Small and large dogs can mix or in the two areas can be separated. I highly recommend that you give the park a try.
I have been bringing my pup here for years. This park is amazing! This park is non profit, and fully funded by donations and operated by an amazing bunch of volunteers. If you have a puppy I strongly recommend you socialize them sooner than later. If you have an older dog there is a trail around the exterior of the park to slowly introduce your pup to the park. Highly recommend!
So much effort went into this park. Went today to check it out I was very impressed ! So happy to finally have a dog park! There are tons of toys for the dogs to play with balls, frisbees, agility equipment. They have water bowls and dog poop bags available. There’s two fields based on weight to separate the large and small dogs. Really excited to come back
Love this place!!!! It’s like the club for dogs. Most of the pups and super friendly and excited to see who’s arriving next. I’ve met the most wonderful families there, everyone is welcoming and kind. Toys and water are recommended for you to bring and or leave as donation to the cause. We are so glad we found this place.
