Great spot. Quite a few other digs, which was great. No shade in summer, but nice when it’s cool. I have a Basset Hound, so he doesn’t do much, lol. But the other digs were awesome and active !

I often use it on my way home from work or on my days off. It’s so spacious and comfortable, and I’m happy to meet so many good friends. Always have a great time!

Very nice dog park, including an enclosure covered in a sand/small gravel mix. Water is available and all entrances are double-gated to test dogs for compatibility before entering. I’ve visited here about 15 times and most of the dogs and people are very nice. There’s plenty of parking most of the time. Finally, clean-up supplies (plastic bags and covered trash cans) are also supplied for any waste removal. I hope I’ll see you there! Recommended!

A very attractive and well maintained park for dogs. The City of Fairfax had done an amazing job to transform part of the original Westmore Elementary School into a lovely place for dogs. The park is located at the edge of Chestnut Street and Berry Street near ALDI. It’s also a very popular for neighborhood activities in the surrounding open space with playground and baseball field.

One of the best dog parks I’ve ever been to! Well maintained, large area, lots of balls/toys, a few benches, shaded seating area, and the best part is the access to water for the tired dogs! Parking is ample and the people are friendly. City police patrols (or has their lunch there?) the area. If you have children, come here to kill 2 birds with 1 stone- there are open fields, lots of swings, a quaint playground, and a baseball field. Love the paved trails too, shaded picnic area, and accessible portapotties. Overall 10/10.
