Great for travelers! It has picnic tables, a small playground (old and neglected), and public restrooms (of questionable hygiene but with toilet paper and a pleasant smell!).
Other than being a nice, small, well cared for park, I wish I could say more.
I just pulled in for a nice shady place to take a break and check where I was going next because my phone was overheating. If I find myself in the area again, I would like to actually get out and investigate it.
This is such a beautiful park. Very well maintained, no litter or dog poop anywhere. The grass is trimmed nicely as well. It’s a bit easy to miss if you’re a tourist traveling through but definitely a great place to stretch your legs, let your kids play in the playground and relax. There are picnic tables as well if you want to eat.
Beautiful night! Kiwanis held an outside concert in the Park with Dark Horse Run…they need to do it more often in the summer!! Brings people together!
Excellent small town park. Good sized playground with a large picnic pavilion. Lots of open space for games and just running around room for kids. Just remember, if you take it in, take it out!!!!
