Dog park is a good size, and easy to keep and eye on your dog. It has a gravel floor and is a bit sandy so whenever we take our pup, we always need to give her a bath after. There is a good amount of room for the dogs to run around and usually there are always others for them to play with.

Porta potty, and covered picnic benches, and plenty of poo bags. It’s not too busy, and perfect for your more nervous dogs.

Good sight lines and overhead cover. Gravel is a hard on the paws. Just large enough for large dogs to get a good run in. Water is available for dogs. It’s a clean, well kept park.

Puppies 1st dog park. Nice size for puppies. Gravel so it gets dusty and you better plan to bathe your pups once done.

Update. 11/4/23
Have a new picnic table, parks department painted everything, removed the old storage keeper and replaced with a new one. They fixed the fence so little dogs can’t escape. Thank you parks department!!

Update. Still go to this park majority of the time. Someone swept under the shelter and the pathways. Whoever you are THANK YOU. It looks great!

Started going through this dog park almost a year ago. Absolutely love going here and the people that come here are usually very friendly. There is a dedicated water fountain source and plenty of dog bowls, it’s fenced, there are two entrances, three picnic tables and plenty of tennis balls.

The ground is made up of pea gravel so it really doesn’t get muddy when snow thaws or it rains.
I put paw treatments on my dog’s paws anyway to help with cracking or from snow melt stuff on sidewalks.
Most dogs walk around and play with others, a few will get their zoomies on, some just like to watch other dogs.

Most owners do pick up after their dogs unlike Shirlington DP but then Utah is a smaller more manageable size compared to Shirlington.
You’re always within sight of your dog at Utah.

If you come here enough you will start to feel like part of a little dog park family here at Utah and so will your dog 🐕‍🦺😊.
