Older trail that must be beautiful when trees in full bloom.
Lots of elevation changes and steps down and up.
Multiple places to sit.
Only bathrooms by parking lot.
Originally set up with stretching and exercise stations.
Signage dated 1975 and stations are in disrepair and for most part unusable.

Before going to the dog park, us and our dog usually walking in the trail. Beautiful woods scenery and big dog park. But you need to bring your own water for your dog because no water provided.

It was the hottest weekend in January and beautiful for a walk, so we decided to take Lexie to the dog park for the first time since moving to New City. Lexie had an amazing time and met lots of new friends both human & canine. BTW, so did my wife & I. The park is a very spacious fenced area for multiple dogs, it has benches for the humans to sit & relax, it has a double gate system and there’s also a poop bag station should you forget yours. There’s ample parking and is a nice hike to the dog park from the parking lot, so be ready for a nice walk. I also recommend maybe boots depending on what type of weather there’s been or old sneakers because they might get a little muddy or pick up lots of dirt. The same with the close you’re wearing since some of the new friends you meet might be very happy to see you and jump all over you. Lexie was pooped out and as soon as we got home she went straight to bed.

My first time here and my girl loved it. She made new friends. Big space to run and play. Dog bowl is there to drink out of (just bring water bring more then you think you need ) some balls/toys here to play with as well. It’s kind of a long walk to the dog park but it’s worth it (If your older or disabled). Enjoy I hope to see you soon
