Great time. Tons of room to run around. Large dog and small dog areas. Water bowls and toys are everywhere and well taken care of. The whole area is very well taken care of.
It is a very family friendly environment. I have brought my neices and nephew multiple times and have always had a good experience.
My only con is that this park has a thick clay/mud. It’s not ideal. Other than that, we like coming here. Lots of space for them to run and play. There are obstacles and lots of balls to choose from. Great dog playmates as well. It is always a nice time.
Great place to bring your doggos with plenty of space for your dogs to stretch out their legs. Volunteer-run and equipped, with a friendly crowd. Chris, the area organizer, is super nice and made me feel welcome right away. There are some muddy spots, so be prepared to wipe your doggos feet if they happen to find one!
I’ve brought my dog twice to this park and people there do not keep and eye on their dogs. I walk around with mine and just don’t stand there and talk. 2 German Shepards almost trampled my dog and the owner just stood there. Another dog kept growling at my dog and I just left. This is the worst dog park. Unless you don’t mind your dog being possibly trampled or hurt, don’t go here.
Large, rustic yet well-maintained, peaceful, community dog park, divided into both small dog and large dog fenced-in areas. It’s located at the end of a whimsy winding paved trail, just slightly inset amid the small forest. You can still see the parking lot from the fenced-in doggy areas, so you’re too tucked away. Gorgeous setting and little nature escape. There are picnic tables just outside of the fenced in areas and there is a porta potty out front, at the edge of the parking lot. There is a bit of a natural trail in the woods next to the park as well, in case you’re doggy would like a stroll on the leash. The small dog area is decent sized, with some trees and benches, free doggy bags, and rain-provided water source. It’s a long rectangle that runs alongside the large dog park. The large dog park is very big, with trees, benches, covered sitting areas, trees, lots of dirt area, rain-collected water supply, doggy poop bags, and plenty of doggy playground equipment. Everyone I’ve met thus far has been helpful and friendly. Great place to socialize and exercise your dogs.
There is also a playground nearby, just about a 3min walk away, in the neighborhood next door. Follow the trail, back behind the electrical tower, down the grassy hill, at the edge of the street. Large grassy fields on the way to the park, once you exit the wooded trail, leading away from the fenced-in dog region. Nice area. Pretty convenient location.
