I saw a bald eagle couple! Great place for bird watching and getting out into nature. Hard to believe this is New Jersey with the elevated hiking trails.

This park is not far from a few Shore towns and boy is that are great break from the hustle and bustle. It is so quiet away from the roads and the trails are very easy to walk. It is a large park, we walked the lower Trail around the lake, an easy walk for anybody. There are many other trails in the park it is beautiful with a nice Lake and people were fishing there. There also seems to be a kayak and canoe launch. Just a great place to get away from it all!!!

It’s beautiful, clean & and safe, great for jogging or taking the pups out for exercise. (Also makes a great meditation spot in the summer☀️)

I’m here a couple of times a week. It’s quiet and great to walk. Wear trail shoes, lots of different terrains. Many trails and options during your walk, dog friendly, but must be leashed. Occasionally see an unleashed dog, but rare for me, and whenever seen, the dog was playing in the water. Litter and poo seem to be on the rise, wish people would respect nature, but trash cans are few….. So it is carry it with you.

About 1.5 miles around the lake wide and narrow trails at the shore line or up on top of the reserve. Benches every where and green grass to sit and picnic. Fishing and bring your canoe at your own risk.
