Located conveniently in the heart of Tulsa, Route 66 Dog Park offers a dedicated pet-friendly space for your canine companions to socialize and play. Whether you’re seeking a dog-friendly park in Tulsa or simply looking for a safe place for your pet to roam, this spot welcomes pups and their owners for leash-free fun.
Easy to find right off S Frankfort Ave, the park caters to Tulsa locals searching for an accessible dog park with open green spaces. It’s an appealing destination for dog owners in Oklahoma who value a community-focused, pet-friendly environment for exercise and socialization.
I like coming here for a few reasons it’s small enough that it’s very easy to socialize your dog (s) and do training or just let them leash free for a bit. Easy to drive/walk depending on your location. The only thing I don’t like is this park doesn’t have a water feature here. So no water faucet. I bring water everywhere but if you are here for a while and dogs get thirsty I have run out before and had to call it an early day because of that.
Its like a yard spot for the area thats fenced in. Stinks like dog poop with all the not picked up poo. No bathroom, benches are blackish and falling apart. There 2 large holes where my daughter tripped. If we were not on a road trip and theres bad weather coming in, we would have skipped this place.
There is a hole under one of the fence openings that allows dogs to escape under them. Good thing mine didn’t but that can be scary for dogs in training. It’s a smaller dog park but still big enough for them to run around so that’s nice and there is some indirect human contact. It’s good but that hole is a problem.
It’s very small and quiet. We were the only ones there, which is exactly what we needed. I have 4 dogs, and my 1 male can be male aggressive. Is it perfect? No, but what really is!?! It was perfect for our needs, and I can’t wait to bring them back. I’m so glad I didn’t look at some of these reviews before I came because they don’t do the park justice. I see what to bring for my fur babies for next time because it’s MY responsibility as a pet owner to provide for them while we’re here, not the park’s. They provide a clean, fenced-in area with decent lighting. Parking is my only actual complaint, and even that’s not that big of an issue.
Dog park next to a Salt and Lime Social which is a little restaurant with outdoor seating, tacos and margarita and other stuff. Great place to bring your dog and have a drink.
