What a great little out-of-the-way spot to take your family. There is a fishing/crabbing pier, a little slip of shoreline/beach, and a park area with a pavilion, complete with picnic tables and a grill. Would be a great spot for a small get together like a birthday. It’s also one of the handful of “fee free” fishing spots in Maryland. You can fish here if you don’t have a license. On top of that, non-residents can crab with handlines and keep up to 2 dozen crabs per day, per person. Again, no license required. My son and I visited late fall, when there was quite a chill in the air. I can imagine in the summer, based on the direction of the wind, you’re going to get nailed with mosquitos, greenheads and horseflies. So I would suggest packing sunscreen AND an aggressive bug repellant…lol.

The large fishing dock is well maintained. It includes benches and rod holders. The whole area is very clean and well maintained. It feels like your own private beach.
