Discover Cypress Park, a favorite spot for dog owners looking for a relaxing day out in Pocomoke City, Maryland. Situated along the picturesque Pocomoke River, this beautiful pet-friendly park features scenic waterfront views, wooded nature trails, and ample green space perfect for dog-friendly walks and adventures. Whether you want to stroll on pet-friendly trails or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere with your furry companions, Cypress Park has something to offer.
Visitors appreciate that this well-maintained park is always clean, with amenities like a playground for kids, a boat dock for water activities, and picnic areas. While there is no dedicated fenced dog area, many dog owners love bringing their pups here for walks, people-watching, and to soak in the natural Cypress environment. Be mindful of the weather—after rain, grassy areas can become muddy, which is typical for this swampy, tree-filled setting. Cypress Park shines as a top spot for dog-friendly hiking and outdoor fun in Worcester County.
Me and my cousins absolutely love this part whenever we want to go to the park this is the one we go to mostly because we love the skate park. I love nature so it’s a big plus that there’s a dock I highly recommend.
Love this park! It is a perfect place to walk the dogs. Beautiful views along the water or on the trails in the woods.
A nice place to dock the boat and have a picnic lunch
Great playground for kids, nature trail and boat dock. Scenic views of the Pocomoke River. Very clean.
When it’s being raining the grassy areas stay extremely wet, slippery, & mud-like. However, that is what should be expected at a “Cypress Park”. Swampy type environments are what Cypress trees grow in.
For me, this park & the Milburn Landing Park are ALWAYS enjoyable places to visit when I’m in the area, & my dog enjoys it as well. I either drive him to Cypress Park or use it as our walking destination, as a quick people watching outing for him (he loves to people watch).
