In-laws used to have a condo on the summit here. It was secluded, quiet, and had ski lift access. We were only there in summer time, so never needed ski lift. But the pools for owners only are excellent!! Well maintained, perfect dipping pool. Great lounge chairs and facilities. Lots of shade for those hot summer days.

If you are looking for a “stay-cation” type of retreat, this is it!!!

Bit of a jaunt to town for groceries or supplies, but convenience stores at bottom of hills at either entrance. Also a little trip to Pittsburgh, but still close enough to make a day trip from the resort.

I miss this place. It’s a gem. Diamond in the rough.

Amazing ski resort to come with kids. Unlike other local resorts there are few snowboarders and few inexperienced new skiers and snowboarders to run into the kids. Most people here are cognizant that it’s a family-oriented ski resort and don’t ride recklessly. There’s a wide variance of terrain types and some pretty wide slopes for carving. Lots of fun. Highly recommend for families.

Our family spent the weekend here skiing and snowboarding. Trails are fun and a great opportunity to fine tune skills. The recent snowfall made the experience very enjoyable. The resort has a good method to loading the lifts. Night skiing was also enjoyable, ample lighting. Looking to return and learn how shred the snow with the boarders of the family.

We came mid-week in February and this is absolutely the best way to teach kids how to ski.

I grew up here but now live in California, where my kids get a week off of school every February. We came home to see my family and get the kids on skis. The conditions were perfect – great powder, no crowding. We had lessons on Tuesday and Wednesday and the kids had wonderful instructors and learned so much. The staff in the rental shop and the ski shop were knowledgeable and wonderful too.

We rented a house through VRBO. There are many options for lodging in the area. Our group included beginners and avid skiers, everyone had a great time! The people working at the resort were extremely helpful, especially the people at the ski school. I called prior to our visit to ask questions and they were wonderful. You can rent a locker for NULL for the day. We fit a back pack, 2 pairs of boots, and a lunch size cooler in it and had a little room to spare. If you are getting a locker, go inside the rental area and ask to get a key, this is where you’ll pay the NULL. It was a bit confusing as there are no signs to tell you how to rent one. We didn’t try their food, but it appears there are a couple of restaurant options. Will definitely be going back!
