Located in the heart of Wexford, North Park Dog Park offers a spacious, hilly, and grassy environment for dogs to play, socialize, and exercise off-leash. The dog park is fully surrounded by a chain-link fence, ensuring safety while your pet explores and interacts with others. A large pavilion featuring picnic tables provides shade and shelter, while friendly dog owners and a great mix of breeds make this a standout community spot. The dog park is frequently visited by locals and visitors alike, especially on weekends when the atmosphere is lively and welcoming.
This well-maintained dog park in Wexford has amenities that make visits comfortable and convenient. Water bowls are accessible throughout the area, and poop bags are provided at the entrance for easy cleanup. Though the grounds can get muddy after rainfall, the nearby self-serve dog wash is a helpful bonus for post-park cleanups. Plenty of open space means your pet has room to run, play, and expend energy, making it an excellent destination for both dogs and their owners looking for dog-friendly fun near Pittsburgh.
I took my dog to this dog park for the first time today. The park had a large hilly and grassy area that was surrounded by a chain-link fence and was muddy from the recent rain. The area also included a pavilion with picnic tables. Many other dogs and people were there on a Saturday afternoon, and we all had plenty of space to walk and run around. My dog seemed to enjoy spending time with the other dogs and people, so we plan to return in future weeks.
A fabulous place to bring a social dog. Attentive, friendly owners and a nice mix of breeds, sizes and ages on the dogs. I’ve yet to see or experience anything out of hand. A good group.
Great place to bring your dog on or off the leash the off the leash park does get wet during the rainy season so make sure if you don’t want your dog money you don’t come out various water and bowls accessible for the dogs C don’t have to bring water with you there’s many other parks in amenities that are attached to this one park so it’s definitely a great adventure for you and your furry friend
It’s a nice little park to bring the dog to run around and get rid of energy. Most people are very friendly and want to let their pets jump and run around and play together. If it is or has been raining, then warning! Total mudfest. And look out for the poop that some owners don’t pick up.
Dog park is kept clean and poopy bags are provided at entrance. It does get muddy but there is an indoor self serve dog wash (NULL per bath) next to the gas station by the canon.
