Kring Point State Park in Redwood, New York offers breathtaking water views along the St. Lawrence River, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers and dog owners seeking a unique outdoor experience. Known for its peaceful atmosphere, RV-friendly campsites, and beautiful sunsets, this pet-friendly park makes a fantastic base for exploring the Thousand Islands region. With wooded paths and opportunities to stroll along the waterfront, it’s a popular destination for families and visitors with pets wanting dog-friendly hiking and relaxing scenery.
The recently updated bathhouses, accessible restrooms, and friendly staff enhance the overall experience at Kring Point. While there isn’t a dedicated, fenced dog park on site, leashed pets are welcome throughout the main park and on walking trails. Boating, fishing, and easy access to Alexandria Bay’s shops and restaurants further add to its appeal, making Kring Point a must-visit for travelers wanting a dog-friendly park in upstate New York.
Super nice park. Full of water views. And nice and quiet. Great spots. And bath house seem close to every area. I truly enjoyed my stay there. A must visit. Also super friendly staff.
We came to explore Morgan island. There are no campsites there. You just hike around. There are basic compost type bathrooms on morgan island. However in the actual park there are showers and bathrooms also.its a popular place,
every campsite was taken. You can also walk along the road there for extra steps. They have docks and launch in certain areas.
GREAT place to camp right on the St. Lawrence River. Great scenery, friendly staff, updated amenities. You won’t be disappointed.
Highly recommended campground to just disappear and relax. Water front sites are perfect with amazing views. Bathhouses are newly redone and very nice. Highly recommend checking it out
Krings Pt. Is our favorite NY State Park. The scenery is beautiful. We have a RV and usually camp in the 82 to 107 sites. You will be able to see the large freight boats pass by. The sunsets are beautiful. It is close to Alexandria Bay a small resort town with shops that are reasonable and good quality.
The fishing is great whether you fish with your boat or off the docks or shoreline.
