Clean. Huge. Walking trail. Soccer field. B-ball courts. Nice place! Weird it’s next to the cemetery.
We just moved here from Watertown, and I can safely say we’ll never drive to Thompson Park again. The park here in Philly is lovely, so many wildflowers, the serene little pond along the trail, it’s just wonderful. My kids are 5 and 3 and the equipment is perfect for them, and I enjoy the trail a lot. It’s quiet, the views are pretty, and it was very clean when we visited. I’m sure we’ll be here almost daily 🙂
We had a lovely time . We walked the trails used some of the exercise equipment and of course spent a couple hours on the playground having fun . This has become a nightly ritual. Please come down and enjoy this wonderful place.
As a park/playground it is very open, spacious and we’ll maintained. The trail is 90% gravel, very easy but very short (0.36 miles) and can be walked in under 10 minutes. The playground is new and offers lots of activities. The exercise equipment on the trail is geared towards the elderly. There is a pavilion is big with multiple picnic tables and there is a ton of parking.
Best playground around. Workout trail and loads of space. Large pavilion and all kinds of sports fields. Well maintained.
