this place is a dream! the sensory trail is wonderful, unlike anything i’ve seen before.
Trails are groomed and marked very well. Wet areas include a boardwalk to keep you out of the mud. Can do short hikes or combine some trails to make the hike a little longer. Nice to have a scenic trail system so close to home. Will definitely be returning!
Always a good time at the preserve! The trails take you through great old forest and to sweeping views, beautiful any season. The folks who steward the land have canoes for use and the river is a great way to see parts of the preserve that most people only see from the opposite bank! All of my pictures are from across (or on) the river. Check it out!
