Great dog park with crushed gravel and lots of space for dogs to run and sniff and anything else they want. The owners are also generally attentive to their dogs and friendly. The water fountain is seasonal so bring bottles of water during the winter!

I think this is the best dog park in DC, although there aren’t many to choose from. This park is special because there is a fabulous group of regulars who come almost every day, and the overseeing committee is very involved. Do yourself a favor and come here to meet some other great dog owners and join the mailing list posted at the entrance. Or, just pop in for a good time with you pup!

This dog park is fantastic! It has plenty of green space for dogs to run and play, and the atmosphere is so welcoming. The community of dog owners is friendly, and it’s easy to strike up conversations while your pup makes new friends. The park is well-maintained, with clean areas and lots of room to explore. Whether your dog loves to socialize or just roam around, this is a great spot to visit. Perfect for both dogs and their humans!

It currently is a gravel/dirt play area with a large mud puddle after rain that my dog always finds. Word is that mulch is coming, but the District isn’t always the most prompt. There are 2 areas, including a small area for small dogs. Some of the dogs can be a bit aggressive so it’s good to keep an eye on yours. Nice neighborhood meeting place.
