I think this is the best dog park in DC, although there aren’t many to choose from. This park is special because there is a fabulous group of regulars who come almost every day, and the overseeing committee is very involved. Do yourself a favor and come here to meet some other great dog owners and join the mailing list posted at the entrance. Or, just pop in for a good time with you pup!

It currently is a gravel/dirt play area with a large mud puddle after rain that my dog always finds. Word is that mulch is coming, but the District isn’t always the most prompt. There are 2 areas, including a small area for small dogs. Some of the dogs can be a bit aggressive so it’s good to keep an eye on yours. Nice neighborhood meeting place.
