If you’re searching for a spacious dog park in Lafayette, Indiana, the Dog Park Association of Greater Lafayette is a fantastic choice for your pup. Located conveniently near scenic, pet-friendly trails along the river, this dog park features large, well-maintained enclosures and a separate area specifically for small dogs. The park is membership-based, with an affordable annual fee required for entry, making it an exclusive and safe environment for dogs and owners to enjoy.
This park is known for its welcoming atmosphere and active community, even in colder weather. While it offers substantial open space and division for different dog sizes, expect some mud following rain. Amenities include seating areas (picnic tables, though not the most comfortable), basic restroom (portable toilet), and plenty of room for dogs to run, socialize, and play off-leash. The park may be a bit less accessible for those with mobility challenges due to seating design and area layout. Don’t forget to check out the nearby dog-friendly hiking trails along the river!
Nice park. Requires a membership but it’s cheap
Picnic tables were bent uncomfortable metal not easy to get to by wheelchair or walker. No bathrooms just a potty
One suggestion is to have a day fee for visitors. It’s a beautiful dog park if you want to pay sixty five dollars a year to use it. However, there are beautiful trails along the river.
The park is soooo big and partitioned for all sized of dogs. Except some mud after rain, the park is great on dry days
