Ended up with several pups through no fault of mine. After calling repeatedly for over 2 months, I was finally told I could surrender them. By this time, I had called ever surrounding shelter and resource I was told about with no luck. I even called the Sheriff on myself who told me that when he contacted the shelter they would not take the dogs. Finally, I was told they could take them. I had it set up for someone to help me take them because my car was too small. As I was going through the paperwork, a pink haired whatever came out of the back screaming at me about the shape of the dogs. After begging for help for months, I exploded when whatever screamed that they were ready to take them for weeks. Let’s forget about the fancy van they have and could have picked the dogs up, never mind the fact that I had been calling FOR MONTHS and was told they couldn’t take them. After all of this, they decided to start calling the Sheriff REPEATEDLY and reporting me for animal abuse and neglect. They really don’t care about the animals at all. They don’t care about helping anyone. This place needs shut down and no one should donate 1 piece of dog food to them. Let’s not even get into the former director being arrested for shady practices.

Desperately trying to get a dog. Drove 40 minutes to go look at a dog. Employees went on about how desperate they are to get rid of dogs. We found one we loved and were ready to adopt. Employee said that she would email us the form and failed to do so. Thats fine, so i filled out the form by finding it myself. Was told my form would be approved or declined in 24 hours. It has been 4 days and I’ve been given no response. And you know, i understand that things get busy, but when ive probably called at-least 30 times and not one answer, you really start to wonder what the heck is going on at the facility. It is so frustrating when you want to give a dog a better life and none of the staff seems to care to run the place. Very upset with this situation

Employees are lazy, liars, and don’t actually care about the animals. They will lie to make themselves the victim, or depending on the situation, hero. Don’t be fooled. Once watched the cat room attendant carelessly leave kittens on an exam table and turn her back. When one kitten fell, she showed no concern and didn’t even check the kitten over. Fortunately, she didn’t see me, so I witnessed her cruelty first hand. Unfortunately, cameras conveniently didn’t work at the time so no one believed it. (Yes the employee still works here and probably will play dumb till the day she dies). Such a shame for the animals’ sake!

This place lacks good structure and proper management. Please exhaust every other option before making this your animal’s last resort.
