This is a beautiful natural phenomenon in Western Indiana. The nickname “Grand Canyon of the East” is well deserved. Hiking through this area is always a treat.

If you are afraid of heights the ladders on trail 3 will be difficult. Not recommended for 7 year olds or younger there is a falling hazard. Also no way for dogs unless carried which will be extremely difficult. Finally lots of steps up and down. Bad knees or difficulty walking should pass.

Such a beautiful place to visit! There are some small challenges, be prepared to possibly get your socks and shoes wet if you’re not properly dressed. I definitely recommend going! Make sure to grab a map though before you head off onto the trails. We can’t wait to go back!
