Bundy Dog Park is a centrally located dog park in Washington, District of Columbia, well-known for providing ample space for dogs to stretch their legs and socialize. Featuring a long stretch of clean, artificial turf, this park is designed for high-energy sprints and play, making it an ideal destination for dogs that love to run. Locals praise its convenient location and the welcoming atmosphere for pet owners and their furry companions.
This pet-friendly park is fully fenced, allowing dogs to enjoy safe, off-leash fun within the designated area. While there is no separate area for large or small dogs, visitors appreciate the clean conditions and the chance to connect with other dog lovers. Some reviews recommend caution for small dog owners, especially during busy hours, due to active play by larger dogs. Easy going and centrally located, Bundy Dog Park is one of DC’s favorite spots for dog-friendly outings.
Would love if they could fix the gates and clean up the turf (needs a good spray), and add a hose spout. Other than that, good park
I’m a dog sitter and this is a great place to connect with our furry friends
Best public dog park in DC.
Dogs seem really happy here, they can make sprints of like 50 meters here. The only down side is that ppl are shooting at the goal right next to the park. Some dogs like it and want to play, others get scared. Oh no restrooms!!!
I’ve gone to this dog park twice. Once during lunch and once in the afternoon. I thought I was going to love it. It’s very clean, fake green turf, and a long stretch of grass with ample room for dogs to run. My dog is a small dog, very friendly, loves to play and has gone to many dog parks. The second time I went was after work my dog was almost mauled upon entering by multiple dogs. We couldn’t make it 1 foot past the entrance. My dog cried multiple times, I went to grab her only to have another dog knock her out of my hands. Then a second time I went to pick her up and another dog lunged at me and bit me. No one reacted quickly. Everyone just kind of stood by and let this happen. I would not recommend anyone with a small dog to come here. I am going to say this dog park is not safe. The dogs are not trained well enough. I would recommend the park to have 2 small dog hours a day. At separate times so people with small dogs can bring their pets and know they will be safe.
