This park is gated and closed at night but opens every morning. The gatekeeper was nice enough to let me stay with him an extra hour after hours the night before while he continued shoveling dirt from one side of the park to the other. His care level for this park made me smile and humbled me, as I looked around at how neat everything was there. I travel a lot and I’m around a lot of people competing with each other so local parks are my life line!!! Grateful for places like these, being amongst the trees and water really bring me back to life.

It’s been a month or so since I’ve been and I still miss the feels of this place.

The park was gated, but it had chains and locks on the gate. It looked like it didn’t have any landscaping tended to in over a year. I’d love to see this park open for the children.
