A great place..off the beaten path. Playground, baseball field, pavilions. AED device accessible!!! Great for the family and other social outings.
Very beautiful. Clean. Well manicured. Versatile: baseball field, volleyball court, soccer field, etc. No basket court. Several pavilions, grills, and picnic tables. Beautiful setting of trees. Very nice Playground area for children. More than one parking area with plenty of handicapped parking (topside and lower end). A bit hilly. Has wooden/grassy type stairs. Also offers a blacktop pathway up, but it kind of goes outwards; not the same direction of the stairs. Has restrooms on site, but appear to be closed. Not sure when restrooms are opened or if ever opened anymore. Nice sitting/watch area for parent to watch children at the playground area. I did not see a track or running/walking path. I did see a sports field that I wasn’t sure what it was. I’m not really a sports person. It reminded me of a baseball field without the diamond. Maybe T-ball. Not sure. There was no railing to get up and down the hilly areas. I have a bad back, not good for me. No info for restrooms. Not good for little. They did have several signs about park rules and times. For the most part I thought it was a lovely park.
I most-likely won’t visit often if there is no restroom for my son with Special needs to use. I would love for us to eat at the picnic table or sit on the hill and play our large outdoor connect four or something. I also need to figure out how to park on/drive to the topside.
It’s a nice park that has multiple fields and playgrounds to play on. It seems to be a park more for play and hosting outdoor events rather than walking. There are limited walking paths, most of them around the playground and not leading to anywhere outside of that. There was some trash around the park, so visitors need to do a better job of picking up their trash. I would recommend this park if you wanted to host an outdoor event or take children to play. As far as walking and running paths, consider a different park
This park is nice and close to my house. I am very impressed with the new additions on playgrounds or equipment. The only problem I have is locked restrooms, dog poop. I almost stepped on dog’s huge poop. In addition, replace the grills around the pavilion because they have reached their lifecycle. Fix those issues and enlarge the pavilion (it’s too small), if you want more traffic. One thing that makes this park unique is individual grill—group of five can be underneath a tree and grill something and that is awesome.
