We hike at this park with a group of children from church and parents. Wonderful place to watch them play with sticks and rocks and discover nature. The entire Rock Creek park system is a treasure for this area.

The playground is always full of dust. Very ill maintained. I feel like i am walking through a sand storm. The soccer/ foot ball field next to it also not well maintained. They just dont cut the grass🙄. There is rays meadow park on the opposite side of the which is 100 times better though its small.

Great park with sports fields, paths, lighted tennis courts, basketball courts and a party/event picnic space that can be rented. The children’s playground is clean and well maintained. Good parking and central location for hiking and biking trails in north or south direction. I wish the county would do a better job of allowing for water run off in several spots along the trail. This park is subject to flooding so check ahead before coming after heavy/extended rains.

Great playground with cute candy cane theme. Two lighted tennis courts and some soccer fields. Lots of parking and a beautiful part of Rock Creek and its trail easily accessible even to wheelchairs, strollers and wagons. Note: The rec center and bathrooms are currently closed. During the warm months there were porta potties near the playground but in the winter they are gone.

Fun playground with options for littles and big kids, plus swings. I love the trees for shade and parking is right there.
