Located just off Jackson Rd in Odenton, Towsers Branch Park offers one of the most welcoming dog park experiences in Anne Arundel County. The park is known for its three medium-sized fenced runs, specifically designed for both small and large dogs, ensuring a safe and enjoyable outing for all pups. Regular visitors rave about the friendly community and amply sized off-leash areas that allow dogs to run, socialize, and play freely.
Towsers Branch Park also provides practical amenities for dog owners—water spigots and hoses help keep dogs hydrated and cool, plenty of benches offer spots to relax, and the park is generally well maintained. The canine pools set out in summer are a unique feature that gives dogs a place to splash and cool off. While some reviewers mention the need for better lighting, the park remains a favorite for anyone searching for a trustworthy dog-friendly space in Odenton, Maryland.
There are only 2 things you can do at this park the dog 3 parks and the basketball court.
There are 3 medium size dog parks at this location. One for smaller pups and 2 for the larger pups. It seems like it’s a close group of people who frequently come to this park. The people and dogs are super friendly with a few socially awkward individuals/pups!
There is 1 basketball court here and it looks pretty run down but there are a few groups that still come to play on the court.
I just wish the county would put more lights at this park, it would allow dog owners to use the park later and maybe help prevent some of the selling/buying and use of drugs that occurs around dusk!
Great dog park. Off the beaten path. There’s two large fenced areas and one small area for smaller dogs.
There are hoses and water spigots to keep the pups cool. Normally there’s a couple of plastic kiddie pools for the dogs to play in.
Huge runs for big dogs. I’ve gone in the morning and have not seen too many dogs. Over all a nice dog park tho. Here is our handsome boy playing with a new friend and of course he had to jump in the pool.
Great dog park! Well maintained with 3 separate gated dog areas each with grass, water spigot and benches. No other doggies when I was here but the b-ball court was busy. I hope other’s start to come with dogs for play time.
This is a really nice huge fenced dog park. There are 3 fenced areas, one for large and one for small dogs. It’s tucked behind Waugh Chapel. It wasn’t a mud pit. Our dog had plenty of space to run around. Not very busy at all, there was no one else there on a Sunday afternoon. AACO needs more larger dog parks like this.
