Great Park! Great People! I only took 1 star away because 1) there is NO access to running water of any kind. If you go, please don’t forget to bring cool water for your furry loved one. There is often generous owners who will bring a gallon of water or even more and they fill the stainless steel bowls that are located EVERYWHERE throughout the park. The only reason I don’t also do that is because I walk with a cane in one hand and a dog leash in the other. 2) The other small negative is the lack of a closer restroom. It can be a long walk if you really “gotta go”.
Lots of room to run around LEASH FREE and there’s even a separate fenced area for smaller dogs too.
I go to this park every day outside of the winter snow season.
There are also walking trails you can enjoy with your leashed dog and a small pond.
My dog & I live in an apartment and there’s no place to play or run there so we go to the park to run, play and socialize with the other dogs. Judah absolutely LOVES the Hudson Dog Park @ Bensons.
