Walked the trails, sat beside the beautiful Gunpowder, enjoyed the flowering plants and the relaxing atmosphere of nature. Wonderful time to be outside.

A great collection of trails in the little gunpowder. Flatter along the river, looping through hills to the same field you start from.

Historic Ice Farmers and History/maintenance from local scout troops. Very photogenic in spots. It feels safe and there are summer family activities posted. Pets on leash.

Completed Jerusalem Mills and Little Gunpowder Short Loop Trail. Beautiful morning and easy to moderate trail to hike. Enjoyed the peacefulness of the area provided and the nature sounds along the trail, especially near the lower part of the trail near the water.

This park has so much going for it. A bevy of picnicking areas, an historic town, hiking trails, a river… the possibilities for you and your family are endless. I enjoyed the hiking trail today, which ranged from flat and gravelled, to rocky, to steep and difficult. There was great tree cover so I didn’t overheat, and the parking situation was perfect. The only criticism I have is a lack of drinking water, maybe it was when I was there (Sunday early morning) but they are fairly far from shops and either a fountain or vending machine would be nice.
