Such a Gem! This park is Peaceful and Quiet, Very relaxing atmosphere. Even has cats! I was over the moon and filled with happiness to see that they made a small shelter area for the cats to be in during the harsh weather! Wonderful Human Beings Maintaining these cats making sure they’re well taken care of. People with real kind hearts! Many places to sit and some exercise equipment too!
There’s a cat colony there (that somebody actually maintains), and the park seems neglected. The noise from nearby Route 3 is tiresome. And sometimes a smell wafts into the park.
On the plus side the views are interesting and the playground is modern.
Snipes Park is a very tiny secluded park that you wouldn’t know is there if you didn’t go hunting for it. Hidden behind some businesses you’ll find two bridges leading you inside.
The walking area of the park is very small, but there are a few benches and picnic tables available for enjoying a break.
You’ll find a few fitness machines throughout the park geared towards adults. In the back there’s a small playground and dog park.
The nice thing is that the park is very quiet and you’ll probably have it mostly to yourself because it’s so hidden.
