Brought my dog in for his annual physical. Kayla at the front desk had no record of the appointment and no apologies. She suggested I must have called the wrong vet’s office but she acknowledged the number I called was their number. Frustrating since making the appointment was a time consuming endeavor due to lengthy hold time (well over 10 minutes). I asked while scheduling if the vet will check my dog’s teeth and I was told they no longer do that but that I could ask the vet to take a quick check during the appointment scheduled for today that Kayla had no record. She further theorized I must have imagined making the appointment. The vet offered to squeeze us in, which was considerate, but we would have to wait for a 1/2 hour with an already anxious dog. No apology or recognition of the possibility of a mix-up or error on their end. Kayla was almost robotic in her interaction. The office staff used to be so friendly and clearly loved pets and people. Not Kayla. Apparently there’s new management. After years of bringing my pets here, it seems it may be time to look elsewhere. Friendly office staff seems like a no-brainer.

We had our dog neutered here in July, the medical care was great, unfortunately the customer service left a lot to be desired. It’s very chaotic at check in, the staff are reluctant to make eye contact and be forced to deal with you, so you kinda have to guess how the “Check in/Check out” works.

We dropped our dog back for boarding today, same issue at check in, check out was a disaster. I walked up to the check out desk and said “I’m here to pick up Cooper, he might be checked in as Harrison” I got some kind of acknowledgement so I went and sat down. After 20 mins of people coming and going, I went back up and the person looked at me like they had never seen me before. I said I’m here to pick up Cooper, they knew something was off but never asked any questions. They asked me to pay NULL.18, which was a weird number, then they gave me a receipt and told me someone would be with me soon.

I sat down for 5 mins and in my boredom I read the receipt, Cooper was a guinea pig and lived at a different address than me… I went back to the desk and said I think there has been a mistake, then they couldn’t find cooper in the system and they asked if I was sure I dropped him off…. Yep, I’m pretty sure, I repeated that Cooper may have been checked in as Harrison (pre adoption name). Oh, you said Cooper was the response.

Not one apology, no recognition of the 45 mins of my life Ill never get back. This should be the easy part folks, great job on the veterinary work, get someone in who knows how to run a front office please 🙏

I love love our vet Dr. Margaret Jablecki. She’s been our vet for almost 4 years. She’s very thorough and helpful when it comes to the well-being of our dogs. The front office staff is improving very well. They are so friendly and so accomodating.
The vet tech Esperanza is a very pleasing person to deal with.

Dr Jablecki and the crew at Westfield Animal
Hospital are amazing. We are so grateful for their care and concern for Lincoln. Dr Jablecki is so thorough in her exams and thankfully we were able to catch our pups cancer while it was still treatable.
Dr Jablecki and the entire staff at Westfield Animal Hospital are always caring and welcoming. They have gone above and beyond. We have recommended them to so many of our friends and family. Thank you so much for taking such good care of Lincoln! We are so grateful!

I absolutely love Westfield Animal Hospital, the doctors and staff are the most compassionate set of individuals when it comes to pets. I have two French bulldogs, while I love the breed, they’re high maintenence & need to be treated with white gloves for pretty much everything. The staff at Westfield has always been super gentle with both dogs.
