Peaceful, clean and quiet neighborhood park. This beautiful park nestled at the foot of a high mountain. The path with flowers and big trees is wonderful for taking a walk. There are various sports facilities. It would be nice to come as a family.

Plenty of parking during the week it fills up on the weekends. Nice flat areas to picnic, play soccer or fly a kite. Basketball courts, tennis and a nice dirt walking trail. There is a small museum that is free. Beautiful view of the mountains.
A lot of bicyclists park here and go across the way to the trail that follows alongside the river. An old railroad bridge crosses the river. There are homeless people living in the river bed and they come over to the park. That is the biggest negative to this park.

Nice Park, plenty of picnic tables, not so crowded during the week, nice playground for the children to play. The restrooms are clean and plenty of parking. I noticed these cool rock benches along the walking path, I was able to hear all different types of birds in the trees while going on a morning walk. The view of the mountains is amazing.

Here in Duarte off Historic route 66 North on Encanto parkway is a pleasant park called Encanto Park nearby fish canyon.. a park that many come to visit on the weekends for birthday parties and family gatherings.. there’s a playground , swings and slides for the kids and lots of sports activities especially on the weekends such as baseball,, soccer, tennis,, basketball and volleyball.. Many senior citizens that live nearby often come here to walk their dogs or just to get some cardio alongside the gravel walking trail that runs along the backside of the park with areas to rest .. parking lot gets packed early on the weekends due to so many cyclist that park here like myself to begin rides going south all the way to the beach or north up to Crystal lake cafe.. alongside Encanto Park is the the San Gabriel River as well as the entrance to the San Gabriel River bike path.. park is very peaceful and friendly atmosphere with well maintained restrooms..
