It was great, there’s definitely a lot of people here so if you want a calm away from people experience don’t come here but if that don’t matter please enjoy it 😉

Gave this place 5 stars—went over the weekend and it was exactly what I needed. The trails are amazing, well-marked, and perfect for a peaceful walk or a light hike. The nature all around felt so refreshing quiet, clean, and full of life. You can really disconnect and recharge here. Definitely one of my new favorite spots to unwind. And the owls… absolutely mesmerizing.

The nature center and surrounding area is beautiful. The small aviary is nice to see and the new boardwalk walkways and easy to walk on with strollers! Such a quaint special place to visit for the day! Your little one will love it too!

OVERALL: A great hidden gem in Englewood with easy access yet a calm, quiet, and spacious park.

PARKING: Good amount of parking, can get full quickly.

TRAILS: Trails are maintained well but still have a natural feeling, a lot of really nice and long walks with so much varying scenery.

INFORMATION CENTER: A nice little building by the parking lot that has additional information about the park, great for kids to explore.

WATERFALL: I loved the waterfall, it was so calm and peaceful, but also a great place for kids to climb through rocks, etc.

Wonderful outdoor adventure playground. Such a well maintained little forest adventure playground for young kids. The water is running and clean and safe for even the youngest kiddos to enjoy. There are plenty of benches and picnic tables nearby. There’s a public restroom right over the bridge. The playground itself is small but unique. Wooden natural climbing structures, balance beams, a slide and a little music section. Bring water shoes, a change of clothes, a towel and sand toys for a day of outdoor fun! Parking is limited on Jones Street but I parked on a nearby cross street and walked.
