Milford Dog Park offers a welcoming space for local dog owners looking for a secure, community-focused dog park in Milford, Michigan. Conveniently located near the heart of Milford and easily accessed via a paved trail from the parking lot, this park is perfect for daily visits and social play. Its well-maintained, fenced areas ensure a safe atmosphere for dogs to engage and exercise off-leash, while the separation for large and small dogs keeps pets of all sizes comfortable. The park’s proximity to scenic trails by the dam and lake makes it ideal for pet-friendly walks and dog-friendly hiking adventures.
Visitors appreciate the park’s cleanliness, secure fencing, and regular provision of poop bags. The paved trail and parking lot make it easy to reach, while both canines and their humans benefit from a friendly, active community. Owners enjoy socializing while their dogs play, and the park’s upkeep, along with long-term doggie friendships, are highlights for regulars. While there’s always room for improvement (such as more frequent cleanup by visitors), Milford Dog Park stands out as a great spot for dog lovers in the area to gather and unwind.
Great dog park! The area is well maintained and secure. (P.s. the cute lil’ guy is just smiling in the photo). All the dogs we have encountered have all been really friendly.
We parking here to walk along a short path. Nice area. Looking forward to visiting again in the summer. No issues, and everything was well maintained.
Very nice and large dog park. Easy access down a paved trail from the parking lot. The paved trail takes you past the dam and around the lake.
My dachshund and I visit almost daily. The park separates large and small dogs, although, on occasion, they may mix with owner agreement or history. The dogs generally self-organize play and can be highly entertaining. Many develop long-term relationships and so do owners. It could use a coffee bar in the morning. The major gripe is owners not cleaning up after their dogs.
There would be a big benefit to web cams and a dog-park channel on the village website. People would know when friends are there and I expect that just viewing would be popular. When I post videos they receive a lot of views.
Nice local dog park, but a little too small for big dogs to get their exercise in. Could use a bit more upkeep. For the small size and provided poop bags you would expect people to clean up after their dogs. I prefer Lyon Oaks, but it’s not bad.
