So happy I found this dog park. It’s so big you feel as if you’re in an open field. My dog had a blast!
Too many incompetent dog walkers turning there backs on and not minding the dogs they bring is a recipe for the many dog fights that break out. Do your dog a favor and keep him out of harms away and avoid this park and the dog walkers that use it.
The dog park at Ward Acres is the biggest and best dog park in the region. With both a large area for big dogs and a segregated area for small dogs, the pens have double doors, bins at each of the three exits, and a very friendly community. Please observe there are rules which are afixed at the main entrance for who comes from the school beside the park.
HUGE!!! And fenced! There’s a water fountain too. Such a big open space and there are lots of dogs here. Parking is a little tricky though because it’s right across from a school but doable. Bring your own poop bags. I didn’t see any here. Benches you can sit on. Trees make it somewhat shady on hot days.
