Downtown Cleveland Dog Park is a conveniently located dog park in Cleveland, Ohio, perfect for city dwellers looking for a place where their dogs can play and socialize. Situated along the river on Merwin Ave, this park offers a scenic spot for dog owners, with the added bonus of beautiful sunset views. The gravel surface helps keep things clean and mud-free, making it a favorite among regulars looking for a low-maintenance, downtown pet-friendly escape.
This dog park provides a fenced-in area where your furry friends can safely enjoy some off-leash freedom under your supervision. While there isn’t a separate section for small and large dogs, the park’s cleanliness and relaxed riverside vibe are consistent highlights in user reviews. Though there is no water fountain available for dogs, owners appreciate the convenient urban location and the opportunity to stretch their legs with a walk along local trails or down by the pier before or after park playtime.
Nice ending to a walk down the pier but not a lot of room to run. A gravel lot and a ramp. No water source for tired doggies. But all the dogs were well controlled
Decent dog park in downtown Cleveland. Went there a few times to walk my dog. Its clean for the most part. A lot of people bring there dogs over. I have been there on the weekends so it was sort of crowded, not sure if weekdays are any better.
Love the gravel idea, keeps things clean. Really cool area down by the river. No one was there at 10am on a Sunday (: dogs had fun so that’s all that really mattered.
The nice scenery makes me sure that this park works well for both dogs and their owners. Walking your dog at the park is a good excuse to spend some time by the river watching the sun going down.
Park was great. Except for one jerk that has his dog running around off lead. And even though there is a leash law, it’s ok if there are no other dogs around. Foolishness. Not all dogs are ok with that
