Love cedar Creek. One of the best community parks in Nassau with a paved walkway/ bike path that can take you all the way to Captree. Nice sized dog park too.

Came to cedar creek to sled after snow and it was set up great! Areas that would lead to street had temporary fencing put up too. Tons of parking and hills

Went with my son and his two daughters. It’s a beautiful park and has a couple of different playground section differen f age groups from toddlers to age 7 and up. My granddaughters love this park.

I’ve lived in Long Island most of my life and never knew there was a park tucked alongside Robert Moses parkway south of Montauk Highway. I found it accidentally while looking up parks that has scenic bike trails and areas to rollerblade.

The park is far larger than I realized, with expansive grass areas and several playgrounds. There is a dedicated rollerblading area that is sectioned off but the paving of this could be improved significantly; still it is nice to have the option and is far better than most blacktop (outside of freshly paved roads).

There were several fields and sporting areas all of which looked to be in pretty good shape.

The bike trail is well paved and lined/laned and gives you a safe way to head down towards the beach areas. I only went a short stretch but is a nice setup that I don’t know if a lot of people are even aware of.

This park is a treasure trove of fun! There are ball parks, dog parks, BBQ areas, soccer fields, and unlimited cycling. My favorite is the bike path that leads to Jones Beach, Gilgo, Tobay, Captree, and Cedar Beaches. I took the ride from Cedar Park to Captree, and it was an incredible adventure. It was almost 40 miles there and back, but it was worth it. I stopped off at Surf Bar in Gilgo for a beer and oysters. It was a great day! Cycling, rollerblading, jogging, and skateboarding are all activities you can do on the path. The views are amazing as you ride. Enjoy the ride! 😊
