Moderate trail. Good for kids 5+. There’s multiple trails leading different directions but eventually leads to the same route. Some steep inclines but nothing crazy and it’s only some routes if you choose. No ticks witnessed but it’s definitely possible dependent on time of year. Not too populated today. With kids, it took about an hour to hike the big outside circle. There were some interesting sites that you find within the trails. Follow the yellow trail markers on the trees and you won’t be lost.

Lots of trails in this south area of the preserve. Right across the road from the trailhead is a small dirt parking area (picture).

Trails are good and undoubtedly neat for running, but we tried to take a off-road stroller along them and had pretty rough going, especially in the steep bits.
