LEXI’S COMMUNITY DOG PARK in Wilmington, California

LEXI’S COMMUNITY DOG PARK is a small, urban dog park conveniently located at 450 Frigate Ave, Wilmington, CA 90744. This dog park offers a simple, fenced-off area dedicated to giving dogs some off-leash fun in a city setting. Though modest in size and amenities, it provides a low-traffic space perfect for those seeking a quiet place to train their pets or let them stretch their legs. The sandy surface is especially helpful after rainy days—no muddy paws!

While the park is mostly basic—with shade from a few trees and a single trash bin—visitors should be mindful that there are no restrooms, dog poop bags, or separate sections for small and large dogs. The park is known to be quiet or even empty at times, making it ideal for dogs who prefer less socialization. Please note some recent reports claim the park may be permanently closed, so checking its status before visiting is recommended.

Ghetto area.

Very small dog park in Wilmington. Just passing through but good enough for my Kenji. Best description would be Just Glad To Have It.

Very small and simple. No dogs everything I come. It’s allways empty and under kept. I needs some TLC

Grateful this is even here, the reviews are a bunch a lot of whiners…. Since it’s empty and loud from cars it’s a great place to train your dogs with lots of stimuli but no dogs around for distractions. Nice stop for my medium sized dogs.

Good amount of shade and just sand so a good place to go if it’s been raining so the dogs won’t be muddy.

No restrooms, no poop bags, bring your own.

Why are there so many photos and videos in this google review that have nothing to do with this place? See my photos for accurate representation.

The water bowl definitely needs some cleanup and attention and I assume people from the street/sidewalk drop off trash in the trash can and why it gets so full.

I wish there were more mini dog parks like this as it’s a good use of dead space in cities. Even if it’s small it’s very useful especially for those without yards for their dogs.
